PGD in Procurement and Commercial Management

PGD in Procurement and Commercial Management course equips students with sound knowledge and industry practices of contemporary procurement and supply chain management at a supervisory management level in an organisation. The specialised diploma programme covers key topics in two knowledge modules and a Research Project module. The knowledge modules are on Purchasing Management, The Research Project will guide students to undertake a project on best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Commercial Customs and VAT management delivers the essential knowledge and skills required to build and enhance your knowledge of Commercial, Customs VAT management and how these can deliver benefits to the bottom-line immediately through a minimized cost-base and increased business.

 

This course is designed for those who need in-depth knowledge and skills on Commercial customs management irrespective of different organizations and sectors. This will also help to build career in Supply chain customs management as it focuses on every single issue of customs management to a greater extent.

Academic Award

Students must pass all modules to complete the course successfully and to be awarded Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply Management (DPSM) from BISCM under BIHRM Foundation, Registered under ministry of commerce, Govt. Society act 1860 since 2003. When a student receives a minimum score of 80% for the online module examination, the student will also receive a digital Certificate of Competency for the specific topic.

Module 2: Commercial Contracting & Negotiation
Commercial Contracting: Understand the legal issues that relate to the formation of contracts.

Commercial Negotiation : Key approaches and strategies in the negotiation of commercial agreements with suppliers.

Module 3: Supplier Relationships & Whole Life Asset Management
Supplier Relationships: Understand the dynamics of relationships in supply chains and when to partner. Processes and procedures for successful working with stakeholders. Whole Life Asset Management: Methods for the storage and movement of inventory (stock).

Module 4: Ethical Sourcing & Procurement in Practice
Options for sourcing from suppliers. Sourcing processes and the analysis of potential external suppliers. Demonstrate the application of the key stages of the sourcing process, the application of whole life asset management and the application of ethical and responsible sourcing in the organisation.

Introduction of customs management, Customs, Customs formalities in export-import, Duties in export-import, Bonded warehouse, Customs assessment and many related Commercial import export related issues

Module 2: VAT management in Supply chain
Introduction of vat management, VAT at manufacturing & trade point, Value declaration & approval system, VAT deduction at source, VAT at service sector many related VAT management related issues
Module 3:
International Trade & Shipping Management
Introduction of international trade, Global and regional economic cooperation & major trade blocks, Modes of entry, Shipping calculations, Foreign exchange and international financing and many related International Trade & Shipping Management related issues
Module 4:
Banking Commercial & Documentations
Introduction to Banking Commercial & Documentations, Export import documentation, Overview of local trade rules, Letter of credit, Export & import procedures and many related Banking Commercial & Documentations related issues
